The journalistic prize in the nomination «For the best work in print media» was awarded to an employee of BStAMLA

On May 7, 2024, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to Press Day was held at the Minsk City Organization of Veterans of Journalism, at which the results of the competition for the best works published by members of the organization during the calendar year were summed up.

Among those awarded with prizes is the leading researcher of the department of information, publication and use of documents of the institution «Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art» (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI), candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Mikhail Pavlovich Kenko. The journalistic prize in the category «For the best work in print media» was awarded to him for the article «I and the creators of other people’s translations work my soul», published in the monthly scientific and methodological magazine «Native Words» No. 2 for 2024. A publication dedicated to the literary translations of the people’s writer of Belarus Arkady Kuleshov, prepared based on materials from the BStAMLA funds.
