On April 16, 2024, the head of the department of archives of organizations and formation of the NAF of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, Maria Iosifovna Pyshinskaya, and the leading archivist Natalya Pavlovna Prinko, archivist Nikolai Alekseevich Proskurin, after negotiations, visited Alexander Aleksandrovich Karpov (son of the famous film director, screenwriter Alexander Yakovlevich Karpov).

Biographical documents of the film director, screenwriter, actor, Honored Artist of the BSSR Alexander Yakovlevich Karpov (certificates, congratulatory addresses, etc.), manuscripts, an album with sketches of scenery for performances, as well as creative documents of the director of documentary and feature films were donated to the archive-museum. , theater, screenwriter, author of poetry collections Alexander Alexandrovich Karpov (scripts of the film story «The Man Who Saved the World», film-play «The First Man in Space», etc., manuscripts of poems), photographs of working moments during the filming of the film «The Sin of Acting» etc. The meeting took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Work on replenishing the archive-museum with documents from the personal archive will continue: we will soon be expecting the next arrival.
