Memory lesson «And it’s scary to remember, and it’s impossible to forget»

On April 10, 2024, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign and cooperation with the Kobrin Children’s Library, employees of the Zonal State Archives in Kobrin conducted a joint lesson for students of grade 6 «G» of the state educational institution «Gymnasium of Kobrin».

During the lesson, the children learned about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against civilian Soviet citizens during the Great Patriotic War in the occupied territory of the Kobrin and Divinsky districts.

Students got acquainted with copies of archival documents presented at the exhibition «Genocide. Without the right to be forgotten!». The poster exhibition was prepared by archive specialists based on documents stored in the institution and is exhibited in the Kobrin Children’s Library.
