On the holding by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Orsha», within the framework of the «Archives to School» campaign, an information hour on the topic: «The Constitution – the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus, a symbol of Belarusian statehood»
April 14, 2024, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign and events dedicated to the Year of Quality, with students of grades 6, 7, 9 of the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 13 of Orsha named after I.I.Yakubovsky», leading archivist of the use department documents of Yu.I.Gryadovka, an information hour was held on the topic: «The Constitution is the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus, a symbol of Belarusian statehood», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and the existence of the institution of the presidency in our country.
During this event, students became acquainted with the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus, the history of the formation and development of the constitutional foundations of Belarus, the stages of preparation and adoption of the 1994 Constitution, its structure, the procedure for making amendments and additions.
Students expressed their opinion about the significance of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus for every citizen and for society as a whole.
According to the archive staff, today it is important for all citizens of the Republic of Belarus to protect the values proclaimed by the Constitution, because thanks to them, a stable, legal, democratic state is being formed. And the lawful implementation of the full potential of the country’s Basic Law makes the life of our citizens worthy, attractive and, most importantly, safe.
