About the working meeting at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with the State Secretary of the Union State D.F.Mezentsev

On March 13, 2024, at the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus (NARB) a meeting was held withState Secretary of the Union State D.F. Mezentsev regarding preparations for the publication of an illustrated book: «Operation Bagration: People’s Avengers»(working title).

The meeting was attended by: Head of the Representative Office of the Permanent Committee of the Union State in Minsk M.A. Shchetkina, Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov >, director of NARB A.K.Demyanuk and representatives of the publishing house Segment.

During the meeting, the concept, structure and necessary additions to the book, as well as issues of design of the book, were discussed. Director of the archive A.K. Demyanuk introduced the distinguished guests to the archival materials that are planned to be included in the publication.

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of State of the Union State D.F.Mezentsev was presented with the publications «Archives. Nothing but the truth», «Burnt villages of Belarus» and «Burned villages of Russia».
