Conducting a «Young Archivist» club class by the National Historical Archives of Belarus
On February 19, 2024, at the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 27» in Minsk, the next lesson of the «Young Archivist» circle took place.
Leading researcher at the Department for the Use of Documents and Information of the National Historical Archives of Belarus Vladimir Denisov spoke to high school students. The topic of the lesson was «Conducting elections to municipal authorities of Minsk in the 19th – early 20th centuries».
The circle participants familiarized themselves with electronic and paper copies of documents dedicated to the elections to the Minsk City Duma and to the position of the head of the city – the Minsk mayor, as well as deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Empire at the beginning of the twentieth century. and to the All-Russian Constituent Assembly in 1917.
Students participated in the work of the circle with great interest and asked numerous questions.
