BSAMLA: about the «Archives for School» campaign

On February 19, 2024, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, 2nd year students of the Republican Gymnasium-College at the Belarusian State Academy of Music visited the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art in order to get acquainted with the archive-museum, the main directions of its activities and the composition of the stored documents.

The students were given a sightseeing tour of the institution with a visit to the reading room and archive storage, during which the children became acquainted with the history of the creation of the archive-museum, the composition and features of document storage, and the main areas of work of the departments.

Employees of the Department of Publication, Information and Use of Documents presented the literary and documentary exhibition «Perad saboi i samam praudzivy», dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the people’s poet of Belarus Arkady Kuleshov and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from German invaders.
