In the State Archive of the Minsk Region, students of the MSLU branch «Linguistic and Humanitarian College» visited an exhibition prepared for the Day of Belarusian Science

On January 26, 2024, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign in the State Archive of the Minsk Region, students of the MSLU branch «Linguistic and Humanitarian College», who are undergoing technological practice at the institution, visited an exhibition prepared by archivists on the eve of the Day of Belarusian Science.

January 28, 2024 Belarusian Science Day is a holiday for those for whom scientific research has become a matter of life. The exhibition featured various documents from the state archives, reflecting some stages of the activities of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as well as personal cards, questionnaires of the first president of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences V. Ignatovsky and the first academicians Y. Kolas, Y. Kupala, S. Wolfson, V. Pichety et al.

Students familiarized themselves with the presented documents with interest, learned about the stages of formation of the flagship of Belarusian science and modern projects of the Academy of Sciences.

In addition, the guys visited the department for working with appeals from citizens and legal entities. Department employees spoke about the peculiarities of their work, searching for documents and fulfilling requests to the archive.
