On January 18, at the state institution «Republican Laboratory for Digital Copying of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus» a meeting of the labor collective was held to sum up the results of work in 2023 and planning for 2024

The meeting was attended by the deputy head of the department of records management, formation and preservation of the National Archival Fund, Anna Vladimirovna Kochetkova.

The director of the laboratory, E.A.Zvegintseva, made a report on the work done. In 2023, the institution’s material and technical base was significantly updated, and this will improve the quality and speed of digitization. This year it is necessary to keep track of all work performed and adjust internal regulations.

In 2023, for many years of conscientious work, 3 people were awarded with gratitude from the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus: Kirilenkova N.F., Khalyushkova S.M. and Karas K.O.

Kirilenkova N.F., head of the digitization department, Levchuk T.Yu., head of the document processing department, and chairman of the trade union organization Gramovich L.A. took part in the discussion of the report.

In the final speech of KochetkovaA.V. noted the importance of the work on digitization and restoration of archival documents and the role of the laboratory in the archival industry. I recommended sharing my experience with the archives. In 2024, continue to improve the material and technical base of the laboratory and timely utilize budget funds. Pay attention to labor safety when working on new equipment.
