On December 22, 2023, an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, head of the Obol underground Komsomol organization «Young Avengers» Efrosinya Savelyevna Zenkova opened in the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region

With a brave and uncompromising fight against the Nazi invaders, she wrote her name in golden letters in the history of the Vitebsk region. Having rallied people around him and established contact with the partisan detachment named after K.E.Voroshilova, carried out his assignments, conducted reconnaissance, and a year later headed the underground Komsomol youth organization «Young Avengers», which operated until August 1943 at the Obol station and in the surrounding villages.

The exhibition presents copies of individual photographs of Efrosinya Savelyevna Zenkova, articles from magazines and newspapers, excerpts from a personal diary, which contains on its pages memories of the partisan’s underground activities.
