On the organization of the evening general technical faculty of the BPI in Mogilev

Under the heading «Documentary Chronicle», the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» presents for review a copy of the order of the Minister of Higher, Secondary Special and Professional Education of the BSSR dated July 8, 1960 No.453 «On the organization in Mogilev of the evening general technical faculty of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute named after. I.V. Stalin».

As part of the implementation of the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR dated July 4, 1960 No.385, the leaders of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, the Mogilev Pedagogical Institute and the Mogilev Mechanical Engineering College had to decide on the placement of a new faculty for the 1960/1961 academic year and providing it with laboratories, offices and teaching staff . It should be noted that the director of the Mogilev Pedagogical Institute was the former head of the party archive under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bolsheviks (Bolsheviks) Fedor Osipovich Popov.
