Visit of the delegation of the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan to BGAKFFD
On December 11, a delegation of representatives of the State Budgetary Institution «State Archives of the Republic of Tatarstan», headed by the director of the archive, Sergei Nikolaevich Gorokhov, arrived at the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents».
The two-day internship takes place in accordance with the Roadmap for the development of cooperation between archival institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023 – 2025.
On the first day of the visit, colleagues became acquainted with approaches to the acquisition of audiovisual documents and methods of creating a scientific reference apparatus.
Director of the State Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan S.N. Gorokhov made a presentation to the archive team and answered questions.
During the working day, the guests were shown methods of restoration and conservation and preventive treatment of film, methods and types of monitoring the technical condition of audiovisual documents.
Work with colleagues from Tatarstan will continue on December 12 according to the approved program.
