Presentation of the collection of documents on the restoration of agriculture for employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus

On November 15, 2023, a collection of documents «Agricultural Restoration of Belarus: 1946-1950» was presented to employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The collection is a logical continuation of the first book «Restoration of the Agricultural Economy of Belarus: 1943-1945». This is a joint project of Belarusian and Russian archivists, implemented since 2017.

Head of the Department of Publications of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok spoke about the archival project dedicated to the restoration of the national economy of Belarus in the first post-war years, and also detailed the presented collection of documents, its structure and composition of documents.

For the employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Justice, a newsreel about the development of the agricultural economy of the BSSR, provided by the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents, was shown.

Then the participants of the meeting were presented with an exhibition of documents on the restoration of the agricultural economy of the BSSR in 1946-1950, as well as a new banner exhibition «We will restore Belarus together!», prepared by archivists as part of the Year of Peace and Creation.
