October 27, 2023 The State Archive of the Vitebsk Region was visited by members of the veteran club «Syabroustvo»

For older people, a sightseeing tour of the archive was organized, a display of virtual exhibition projects prepared by archive staff and related to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, an introduction to the exhibition project «From Family Archives», which presented photographs and letters from personal and family funds stored in State Archive of the Vitebsk Region.

The meeting participants received information about the system of archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus and the work of the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region, as well as about the methodology for searching for genealogical information in archives and open sources.
