As part of the republican action «Archives for School,» on October 19, 2023, a training seminar and a sightseeing tour were organized for participants in the «Young Archivist» project at the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region

In September 2023, between the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region and Vitebsk State University named after P.M.Masherov, an agreement was concluded within the framework of which the «Young Archivist» project is being implemented.

During the workshop, project participants, students of the Faculty of Humanities and Language Communications and students of secondary school No.11 in Vitebsk, received consultations, acquired skills in thematic identification of documents and worked on a scientific reference apparatus in order to collect materials for the Day of M.M.Bakhtin in Vitebsk.

The most striking impression on the project participants was a visit to one of the archival repositories, which took place during a sightseeing tour, and familiarization with the conditions for storing archival documents.
