About the Book of Honor of the State Archive of the Brest region

On the eve of the professional holiday – the Day of the Archivist – a Book of Honor was established in the archive to preserve the memory of archivists who made a significant contribution to the development of The State Archive of the Brest region.

During the solemn meeting on the occasion of the Archivist’s Day on October 5, 2023, the Book of Honor was presented to the team.

The beginning of the book was written about those workers who stood at the origins of the creation and development of the archive, devoted a significant part of their lives to archival work, but who are no longer with us. Among them (the years of work in the archive are indicated in parentheses) Liber Tamara Dmitrievna (1947-1979), Kukhta Yanina Petrovna (1952-1985), Gavril Vasilyevich Ponomarev (1957-1974), Norov Gleb Mikhailovich (1964-1987), Terebun Anna Vasilyevna (1970-2007).
