Review-amateur art competition among republican archival institutions
On September 20, 2023, in the assembly hall of secondary school No. 27 in Minsk, the first stage of the amateur art competition among republican archival institutions took place. The competition was planned by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus as part of events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation.
The review competition was held for the first time among the republican archival institutions of Belarus. The objectives of the event included improving the professional and personal culture of employees, searching for talent, and unleashing creative potential among employees.
The honorary guest of the event was the head of the department of personnel policy and ideological support of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Drozd.
The contestants represented the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, the National Historical Archive of Belarus, the National Historical Archive in Grodno, the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, the Belarusian Scientific Research Institute document management and archival affairs, Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation, Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus. Both employees and their family members were allowed to participate.
Following the results of the first stage of the competition, the chairman of the jury, deputy director of the Department of Archives and Records ManagementAlexey Tsvetkov presented diplomas to the winners.
The prizes were distributed as follows:
In the category “Choreographic art”:
First degree diploma – Ksenia Tsynkevich, archivist of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art;
Diploma of the 2nd degree – Elena Kulinok, employee of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation;
III degree diploma – Maria and Elizabeth Prinko, children of the leading archivist of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art N.P. Prinko
In the category Vocal Art:
First degree diploma – Marina Sivertseva, leading archivist of the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno;
II degree diploma – Vyacheslav Khodin, grandson of Lyudmila Khodina, employee of the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation;
III degree diploma – Yuri Petlitsky, son of the leading archivist of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents N.A. Petlitskaya.
In the category Original Genre:
Diploma of the I degree – Sergey Mezga, Deputy Director of the Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus;
Diploma of the II degree – Ekaterina Lukina, archivist of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus;
III degree diploma – Erofey Moryakov, Daniil Rubisov, Pavel Artamonov, leading archivists of the National Historical Archive of Belarus.
The jury especially noted the performance of Maria Sargan, daughter of the chief accountant of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents I.Yu. Garfish. The girl read Nina Galinovskaya’s poem “Mae Kazki”. The act will be presented at the second stage of the competition.
The winners will take part in a concert program as part of the second stage of the competition, which will be held in Minsk at the Ministry of Justice.
