On participation in the republican action «Archives – School» of the institution «Zonal State Archives in Krichev»

On September 20, 2023, as part of the republican action «Archives-School», the leading archivist of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Krichev» Victoria Kondratenko conducted a lesson for 4th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 1 of Krichev» on the topic «No deadline prescription». Victoria Valerievna began her lesson with the question of why the topic of genocide is so relevant, because the scale and nature of the Nazi crimes against civilians in the occupied territory is enormous.

Students listened to information about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, based on archival documents. After all, for the younger generation, the most important thing is to preserve the historical truth about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against civilians during the Great Patriotic War.

At the end of the lesson, the students concluded that only devotion to the ideals of their ancestors, the memory of them has no statute of limitations.
