The Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa took part in the event dedicated to National Unity Day at OJSC “Rechitsa Textile”

On September 13, 2023, as part of the Unified Information Day dedicated to National Unity Day (September 17), a meeting was held between representatives of the Main Department of Justice of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee and the staff of Rechitsa Textile OJSC.

Head of Department A.S. Kamalyev introduced the workers of the industrial enterprise with general information about the reunification of the Belarusian people on September 17, 1939 and the establishment of the holiday in 2021. And the leading archaeographer of the department of information and use of documents of the institution “Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa” S.A. Zharnosenko presented the most interesting facts related to the period of Western Belarus being part of Poland in 1921-1939. and its reunification with the BSSR.
