The Central Laboratory continues to work with a sponsored educational institution

As part of the activities of the republican action «Archives for School», carried out according to the republican action plan for holding the Year of Peace and Creation in 2023, the state institution «Central Laboratory for the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus» fruitfully cooperates with the staff of the educational institution «Minsk State College polygraphy named after V.Z.Khoruzhey». This is due to the fact that not a single educational institution prepares the profession of an archivist-restorer, and a close field of activity, adjacent to the restoration of archival paper-based documents, is printing, where specialists work with paper, perform binding work, and carry out computer processing of graphic files.

On June 7, 2023, the director of the laboratory V.L.Klyuyko and the director of the college A.S.Simonenko signed an Agreement on cooperation in terms of personnel training, which provided for various career guidance events.

In development of this, on August 14, 2023, a volunteer detachment of the primary organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union of the College visited the laboratory with an introductory tour.

Students and young teachers with genuine interest got acquainted with all stages of the technological process of microbiological research, disinfection, restoration, binding, microfilming and digitization of archival documents, talked with members of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union of the laboratory.
