Employees of the State Archives in Orsha took part in a festive meeting dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

July, 3 Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus is the main holiday of the Belarusian statehood. This is a historically significant date in the fate of the country, which has become a symbol of freedom and peace. On this day, Minsk was liberated from the German occupation. The decision to celebrate Independence Day on July 3 was made during a republican referendum in 1996. The meaning of the memory of our common victory knows no equal, because behind attempts to distort its meaning is the struggle to change our consciousness.
