Excursion for students of the Baranovichi State College of Technology and Design

On June 22, 2023, for students of the Baranovichi State College of Technology and Design, employees of the Zonal state archive in Baranovichi held a thematic memory lesson dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people.

The students were introduced to the documents stored in the state archive, which reflect the policy of genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. They showed acts of damage caused by the Nazi invaders on the territory of the Baranovichi region. They showed photo and video materials about the death camps, which were located on the territory of the Baranovichi region, prepared by employees of the state archive.

Also, the students of the college had a tour of the archives, during which they were told about the composition and volume of the documents of the state archive and the conditions for their preservation.
