On June 9, on the International Day of Archives, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region hosted a meeting with students of the department «Document Science and Law» of the branch of the BSTU «Vitebsk State Technological College» of the career guidance «Archive is my future».

During the meeting, the students were introduced to the history of the archive, its structure and current state. Director of the archive Svistunova T.M. spoke about the activities of the departments, focusing the attention of students on the areas of application of their knowledge in college. The advantages of higher specialized education and higher educational institutions where it can be obtained are announced.

The students visited the archives, where they were shown how documents are stored, how the search for the right case is carried out, and demonstrated the advantages of storing cases in a cardboard state.
