On holding a joint action dedicated to Children’s Day

International Children’s Day is celebrated annually on June 1st. On this day, a wide variety of bright events are being prepared for children for the little citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

The Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art did not stay away from this holiday. As part of the events dedicated to the «Year of Peace and Creation», as well as the implementation of the tasks determined by the collegium of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus for work with youth, on this day, excursions were organized for the children of employees of two institutions, as well as their friends reading rooms.

Employees of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art told young visitors about the peculiarities of the formation of museum collections, introduced the children to the book exposition of the archive.

In the department of information and use of documents of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, the tourists got acquainted with the design and construction documentation stored in the archive, learned about the features of the restoration process of scientific and technical documents.

The fun tour ended with a friendly tea party.
