On holding a solemn meeting of labor collectives dedicated to the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus

On May 13, 2023, a solemn meeting of the labor collectives of the National Historical Archives of Belarus and the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Affairs was held in the conference hall of the NIA of Belarus, dedicated to the state holiday – the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus. During the event, director of BelNIIDAD A.E. Rybakov and Deputy Director of the NIA of Belarus I.I. Kovganova, who told the employees of these institutions about the symbols of the Belarusian state and the history of their formation.

As part of the event, the employees of the NIA of Belarus and BelNIIDAD were presented with an exhibition of original documents related to the early years of the life of the Belarusian poet, playwright and critic, author of the text of the anthem of the Belarusian SSR «We Belarusians» Mikhail Nikolaevich Klimkovich (1899–1954), which was prepared by the deputy head Department of Ancient Acts of the NIA of Belarus O.F. Romankevich.
