On participation in the republican action «Archives for the School» of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Krichev»

On May 12, 2023, on the eve of the celebration of the Day of the State Emblem, the State Flag, the National Anthem, within the framework of the republican campaign «Archives for School», the leading archivist of the Zonal State Archive in Krichev, Victoria Kondratenko, held a thematic lesson «Symbols of Belarus» for 7th grade students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary school No. 1 of Krichev».

The leading archivist introduced the children to the history of the symbols of our state: the coat of arms, the flag and the anthem. Schoolchildren learned about the ways of formation and development of state symbols, what legislative documents underlie their approval, when and where the State Flag, the State Emblem are used and how the National Anthem is performed.

During the event, the guys talked about the role and significance of symbols in the life of every person and the country as a whole, and also answered the questions of the quiz «How do we know the symbols of the Republic of Belarus?». At the end, the children were given leaflets with the symbols of our country and the children sang the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
