On participation in the celebrations dedicated to the Victory Day
On May 5, 2023, on the eve of Victory Day, the Palace of the Republic (Minsk) hosted a solemn meeting and concert of art masters «Vysota». In the foyer of the Palace of the Republic, the exhibition «The Way to Victory» prepared by the State Institution «Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War» has opened. The exhibition featured pavilions dedicated to the main events of the liberation of Belarus: the defense of the Brest Fortress and Mogilev, the battle on the Buinichsky field, Operation Bagration and others.
A poster photo exhibition of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents» (hereinafter – BGAKFFD) entitled «Hard Path to Victory» supplemented the exhibition. Photo documents presented at 6 thematic stands told the audience about the difficult trials of the Belarusian people on the way to the victorious May 1945.
