Employees of the Zonal State Archives in Lida laid flowers at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers in the city park

On May 3, 2023, on the eve of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Zonal State Archive in Lida laid flowers at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers in the city park.

The soldiers who died during the liberation of the city of Lida in 1944 were buried in a mass grave on Mickiewicz Street, in the city park of culture and recreation. 7 soldiers-liberators are buried here:

– commander of the 86th Lida Guards Cavalry Regiment of the 32nd Smolensk Red Banner Cavalry Division of the Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Alexei Fedorovich Trukhanov;
– Guards Colonel Grigoriev Viktor Mikhailovich;
– deputy the commander of the political unit of the 24th cavalry regiment of the 5th cavalry division of the guard, Major Vydaiko Nikolay Fedorovich;
– Guards Senior Lieutenant Sytnikov Ilya Ivanovich;
– Guard Lieutenant Artyomenko Nikolai Prokhorovich;
– Guard privates Tumaev F.T. and Savushkin I.M.
