About the visit of the «Zonal state archive in Zhlobin» exhibition «We are not slaves»

On April 28, 2023, employees of the Zonal State Archive in Zhlobin visited the exhibition project ««We are not slaves!» The fates of ostarbeiters in photo documents, letters and memories», initiated by the prosecutor’s office of the Gomel region.

The exposition is located in the state institution of culture «Zhlobin Museum of History and Local Lore».

The exhibition presents documentary materials stored in the State Archives of the Gomel Region and studied by the Prosecutor’s Office of the region as part of the investigation of the criminal case about the genocide of the Belarusian population during the Great Patriotic War.

This is a certificate of repatriated citizens sent for slave labor in Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy, France, German work books, Soviet passports with German stamps, passes for work at foreign events.
