Action «Archives for School» in the Central Laboratory

As part of the «Archives for School» campaign, on April 5, 2023, an excursion was organized at the state institution «Central Laboratory for the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus» for first-year students of the Faculty of Industrial and Civil Engineering of the Minsk State College of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The laboratory staff introduced the students to all stages of the technological process of microbiological examination, disinfection, restoration, binding and digitization of archival documents.

The students were clearly convinced that the work to preserve and restore the original form of an archival document requires a painstaking and scrupulous attitude, great experience and responsibility of specialists who contribute to the preservation of the historical heritage of the Belarusian people within the framework of the Year of Peace and Creation.
