On participation in the XXII International scientific conference «Belarus and Germany: history and modernity»

On April 7, 2023, employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus took part in the XXII International Scientific Conference «Belarus and Germany: History and Modernity», which was held at the Minsk State Linguistic University.

The conference brought together leading specialists and researchers on the history of the Great Patriotic War from among archivists, representatives of the academic and university communities. The work of the conference was organized in the format of three plenary sessions.

The head of the publications department, candidate of historical sciences S.V. Kulinok acted as the moderator of the second plenary session «The Great Patriotic War: people – events – facts», and also presented a report «German reconnaissance and sabotage schools and courses in Borisov (1941-1944) .)». Researcher of the Publications Department T.N.Ageenko made a presentation «Documents of rural, district and hair councils as biographical sources». Leading Researcher of the Department for the Use of Documents and Information V.G.Mazets presented a report «Contribution of deputies of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR of the first convocation to the victory over German fascism».

Within the framework of the conference, S.V.Kulinok handed over to the university library a collection of documents «You still have a choice…».
