On the working visit of the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.N.Kot and the Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management O.L.Voinov to the Brest Region

On March 22-23, 2023, as part of a working visit to the Brest region, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.N.Kot and Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L.Voinov zonal state archives in Kobrin and Baranovichi.

Representatives of the Ministry of Justice got acquainted with the activities of state archives, their material and technical base, the conditions for storing documents and the work of archivists, the process of digitizing archival documents, visited archives, reading rooms, offices and other premises.

Director of the Department O.L.Voinov held meetings with the administration of archival institutions, at which reports were heard from their leaders on the activities of archives.

The visit ended with meetings with the labor collectives of the state archives. The work of the archivists of the Brest region deserved a positive assessment of the head of the industry.

The employees of the archives were given specific tasks for the current period, which will be reflected in the protocol of instructions.
