The director of the «State Archive of the Gomel Region» took part in a dialogue platform on the topic: «80 years of the tragedy in Khatyn. The results of the investigation of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War»
On March 16, 2023, the director of the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» (hereinafter referred to as the GAG) Sushchevich A.N. took part in the dialogue platform, which took place on the basis of the State Institution «Palace of Culture «Belitsky» with members of the labor collective of the House of Culture «Belitsky» and the State Educational Institution «Physical Culture and Sports Center for Children and Youth of the Novobelitsky District of Gomel «Golden Lynx» on the topic: «80 years tragedy in Khatyn. The results of the investigation of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War».
The speakers of the event were: Rudenok O.K., deputy head of the administration of the Novobelitsky district of the city of Gomel, director of the SAGom Sushchevich A.N., chairman of the Novobelitsky RO NGO «Belaya Rus» Tkach L.A.
During the meeting, the director of the archive Sushchevich A.N. revealed the main issue of the Khatyn tragedy, noted that the Khatyn tragedy is a historical fact, indisputably proven both by the materials of criminal cases of past years and archival documents, and by the results of the investigation of the modern criminal case on genocide. It is the duty of everyone to keep the memory of the dead in order to protect the truth about that terrible war, to preserve and strengthen the unity of our country.
In continuation of the meeting, the chairman of the Novobelitsk Regional Public Organization of the Regional Public Organization «Belaya Rus» Tkach L.A. spoke. In her speech, Lyubov Alexandrovna told how a political party differs from a public association. Also, the drafts of the Program and the Charter of the political party «Belaya Rus» were submitted for discussion.
At the end of the event, summing up the results, the speakers gave exhaustive answers to all the questions asked.
