«Archives for School»: an excursion for students of the educational institution «Mogilev State College of Arts»

On March 9, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the State Archives of the Mogilev Region was visited by students of the educational institution «Mogilev State College of Arts».

Archivists of the 1st qualification category A.I.Shvyryov and A.V.Petukhov introduced the students to the composition of archival funds, examples of the most interesting documents. The students were interested in collections of documents created on the basis of archival documents, and other book products from the library fund of the archive.

The guests visited the laboratory for digitization of archival documents. Then the tour continued to the archives, where students saw how documents are stored and their safety is ensured. During the tour, students were able to ask all their questions and get comprehensive answers from the archive staff.
