To the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus

March 15 marks the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, which was adopted on March 15, 1994 (valid with amendments and additions adopted at the republican referenda on November 24, 1996, October 17, 2004 and February 27, 2022).

The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus is the main law of the country, which has the highest legal force and establishes the fundamental principles and norms of legal regulation of the most important social relations.

On this memorable day, we invite you to familiarize yourself with the poem by the People’s Poet of Belarus, translator, public figure, deputy of the Supreme Council of the BSSR and the USSR Maxim Tank «The book of life. Kanstytutsy of the USSR», the manuscript of which is kept in the personal fund of the poet in the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art.
