Lesson for the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus

On March 10, 2023, students of 11 classes of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 3 of Kobrin» visited the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the Year of Peace and Creation. On the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, the staff of the archive held a thematic lesson for schoolchildren. The students were shown a presentation on this topic.

The students were given a tour of the archive with a visit to the archives, during which they got acquainted with the conditions for storing documents, their composition and content. Especially valuable documents aroused genuine interest among the children.

The staff of the archive familiarized the students with Internet resources that can be used to search for information about archives, as well as obtain information about the types of documents stored in them. Career guidance was given to students about educational institutions that train archival specialists.
