The opening of the documentary poster exhibition “Post-war Novogrudok Region: Restoration and Development” was held at the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok

The year of peace and creation is dedicated to the documentary poster exhibition “Post-war Novogrudok: Restoration and Development”, which was opened on March 9, 2023 at the Zonal State Archive in Novogrudok. The documents presented at the exhibition tell about the difficult conditions of the ongoing war, which required material and human resources, the restoration of the national economy of the region took place. Nevertheless, by 1950, in the Novogrudok district, it was possible to fully restore and significantly expand industrial production, achieve certain successes in the development of agriculture, including expanding the sown areas of collective farms and increasing the number of livestock, bringing all key indicators to the pre-war level and exceed them. Particularly significant changes and achievements have taken place in the development of medical care for the population, education and culture.
