On March 1 and 2, 2023, in the state institution of additional education «Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth», the projects of the regional stage of the republican competition of scientific research works of local lore students were defended as part of the republican patriotic action «I am proud of the land of the land»

Vladimir Kokhanko, head of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, was a member of the competent jury.

In the nomination «History of the native land» 27 works of students from different parts of the Vitebsk region were presented.

In the nomination «Cultural heritage» – 17 works.

The guys from the regional center presented their projects in person, and from the regions – in the online format.

Based on the results of two days of work, the best of the submitted projects were selected for participation in the republican final stage of the competition. The rest of the participants were awarded diplomas of laureate and participant of the competition.
