Conducting lectures on the topic «Urban heraldry. The history of one city in the coat of arms»

Within the framework of the “Archives to School” campaign and events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, with students of the 8th grade of the state educational institution “Secondary School No. 9 of Orsha”, the archive employees held an information hour on the topic: “Urban heraldry. The history of one city in the coat of arms” , dedicated to the history of the development of territorial heraldry of settlements in the Vitebsk region.

During this event, the coats of arms and flags of 33 settlements of the Vitebsk region were presented to the attention of the children – the largest number among all regions of the country, 17 coats of arms of which are more than one hundred years old.
