Touch the documentary heritage

As part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», held in accordance with the republican action plan for holding the Year of Peace and Creation in 2023, in order to highlight topical issues of preserving the heroic heritage and historical truth about many periods of the life of the Belarusian people in the state institution «Central Laboratory for Preserving Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus» a sightseeing tour was held for 1st year students of the educational institution «Minsk State Energy College».

During the excursion, students were given the opportunity to follow the entire technological process through which the documents that got to the laboratory go their way, starting from microbiological examination and ending with binding.

A significant number of questions asked during the tour by the guests of the laboratory confirms the interest shown in the work performed by the laboratory, as well as in the great experience and responsibility of the unique specialists working in the laboratory, who give a second life to archival documents.
