On December 28, 2022, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign and events dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory, a meeting was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with students of grades 9-11 of the State Educational Institution «Zamostochskaya Secondary School» of the Minsk District

The children were taken on a tour of the archives. Head of the Department of Funds of Personal Origin I.V. Dorogush spoke about the history and main areas of work of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus. The students visited the archives of funds of personal origin, where an exhibition of documents of state, public and party figures, scientists of Belarus, participants of the Great Patriotic War, etc. was organized for them.

I.V.Dorogush spoke about how funds of personal origin are formed and about their importance in preserving the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus. The children also got acquainted with the documents from the funds of partisan formations: the personal files of the commanders of partisan detachments and brigades, battle sheets and other documents.

The head of the department for ensuring the safety of documents and funds, N.S. Nartovskaya, spoke about the composition and features of document storage, about the organization of work in the archive to improve the physical condition of documents.
