As part of the information day on December 14, 2022, a meeting of archive employees was held in the reading room of the institution «State Archive of the Gomel Region» (hereinafter – GAG).
In his report, the director of the General Assembly of Ukraine A.N.Sushchevych. informed the team of information about events in the country and abroad for the period from November 26 to December 2, 2022.
Andrey Nikolaevich noted that the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 411 on November 28, which approved the most important parameters of the forecast of social and economic development of Belarus for 2023. To achieve the most important parameters, the government will approve a target plan for 2023. It will concentrate all the measures and resources necessary for the uninterrupted and effective work of organizations in the conditions of sanctions, as well as for raising the standard of living of the population.
Andriy Nikolaevich also said that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko had a meeting with deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic.
– The absolute priority of the government’s work remains the quality and quality of life of citizens, – noted the head of the government.
In addition, A.N. Sushchevych spoke to the archive team with a report aimed at preventing the use of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
– Drug addiction is one of the most significant problems of our time. Drug addiction is a serious disease common in many countries of the world, regardless of their economic situation. Despite the fact that such a phenomenon as drug addiction is to some extent individual, its consequences affect all groups and strata of the population. Today, dope distributors find various ways to deliver a “lethal dose” to the customer: via the Internet, through bookmarks, at a personal meeting, Andrey Nikolayevich noted.
Also, the report covered in detail the common external signs characterizing people who use narcotic substances.
In his report, the director of the archive paid a lot of attention to criminal and administrative responsibility for the consumption and illegal circulation of narcotics and smoking mixtures.
At the same time, Andrey Nikolayevich informed the employees about the planned meeting on December 22, 2022 within the walls of the GAG with a specialist from the Gomel regional drug dispensary, during which the archive employees will be able to get answers to all the questions of interest.
