Conducting a virtual tour for the personnel of the freelance training center of the State Institution «Group of Logistics of the Border Service Bodies»

On December 4, the leading archivists of the Department for the Use of Documents and Information of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents M.D. Romanova and M.V. Garelik conducted a virtual tour of their native institution for the personnel of the freelance training center of the State Institution “Logistics Support Group of the Border Service Bodies».

The employees of the archive told the young guards of the state border about its history, structure, main types of documents stored in the funds of the scientific reference apparatus and the features of working with it. The border guards got a unique opportunity to see the work of the archive «from the inside» through the eyes of its employees, to get acquainted with the technological processes that are usually hidden from visitors. The film «Biography of my Republic», dedicated to the feat of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, did not leave the servicemen indifferent.
