About conducting an excursion for employees of the Republican Clinical Dental Polyclinic

On October 20, as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the archival industry in Belarus, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus held a meeting with employees of the Republican Clinical Dental Polyclinic, members of the primary trade union organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers.

The deputy director of the archive E.V. Kushnova delivered a welcoming speech and spoke about the system of state archives of Belarus, the history of the archive, as well as events held in the Year of Historical Memory.

During the tour of the archive, the researcher of the publications department T.N. Ageenko spoke about the main directions of the archive’s work, the composition and features of storing documents. The guests visited the archives, where they got acquainted with documents on the formation and development of the Belarusian statehood, the organization of the partisan movement, documents on the development of dentistry in the republic, etc., and also learned about the possibilities of using archive funds when studying family history.
