As part of the Single Security Day, a general staff meeting was held at the State Archives of Vitebsk Region

On 29 August 2022, within the framework of the «Single Security Day», a general meeting of employees was held at the State Archives of Vitebsk Region.

The speakers at the meeting were A. E. Nesterov, public inspector for labour protection, A. N. Yupatov, veteran of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and K. G. Karpekin, chairman of the trade union committee.

The meeting covered questions on how to behave in case of fire or other emergency situations. The participants spoke in detail about the steps of evacuation of employees in case of emergency, emergency exits in the archives and how to use them. They showed the self-rescue kit and informed about its location.

The meeting also discussed the requirements for a safe workplace. The section of the «Collective Agreement» regarding health and safety at the workplace was once again covered.

An employee of the archive, veteran of the Ministry of Emergency Situations A. N. Yupatov spoke at the meeting. As part of his speech, a selection of educational videos were shown on how to use fire extinguishers and why fire detectors are needed.

A film was also shown to demonstrate the stages of a fire and explaining what to do when caught in the middle of a fire.
