The State Archives of Minsk Region opened the exhibition “COURT EXECUTOR IN THE DOCUMENTS OF THE STATE ARCHIVES OF MINSK REGION”

On 5 July 2022, a mobile historical-documentary exhibition “COURT EXECUTOR IN THE DOCUMENTS OF THE STATE ARCHIVES OF MINSK REGION” was opened in the town of Logoisk, Minsk region.

The opening ceremony of the renovated building, which will house the Compulsory Enforcement Department of the Logoisk district, Minsk region, was held in the town of Logoisk, Timchuk street. Guests of honor attending the celebration included the Minister of Justice of Belarus S. Khomenko, Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Region Executive Committee D. Kurlenko, Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Minsk Region Executive Committee A. Bachilo, the district authorities, representatives of clergy, etc.

To mark this important event, the employees of the State Archives of Minsk Region prepared a historical and documentary exhibition “COURT EXECUTOR IN THE DOCUMENTS OF THE STATE ARCHIVES OF MINSK REGION”.

The exposition was placed at the entrance to the building of the compulsory enforcement department. The banner exhibition presents the earliest documents from the collections of the State Archives of Minsk Region, reflecting the stages of formation of the profession in the Soviet period. The last dates of the documents are 1919-1929.

These are only a small fraction of the documents characterizing the work of bailiffs.

All the documents presented at the exhibition are exhibited for the first time.
