The defenders of Mogilev in the memory of citizens

The defense of Mogilev in July-August 1941 is one of the most striking, heroic and tragic pages of the war in the territory of Belarus. The troops of the Nazi Germany received a tough and organized repulse of the whole city. Not only military servicemen but also police officers and members of the town militia took part in the battles. The names of some of them will forever remain in the memory of the citizens of Mogilev.
