Deputy Director of the State Archives of Vitebsk Region Tatyana Buevich took part in the presentation of the book “The Genocide of the Belarusian People” held at the Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library
On 30 May 2022, the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. I. Lenin held a presentation of the book “The Genocide of the Belarusian People”, edited by the Procurator General of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Shved.
The publication contains information and analytical materials and documents from the criminal case about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and the postwar period, which is investigated by the General Prosecutor’s Office.
In the Year of Historical Memory, the book “The Genocide of the Belarusian People” is a tribute to the memory of the dead and promotes historical justice by strengthening the principle of national unity, morality and patriotism.
Deputy Prosecutor of Vitebsk Region, Senior Counselor of Justice Vladimir Guk and Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Pyotr Gnutenko took part in the event.
