The Pushkin Central District Library in Mozyr holds lessons of courage for schoolchildren on thematic exhibition “Our Memory and Pain” dedicated to Internationalist Soldiers Remembrance Day
From February 15, 2022, the Mozyr Central District Library named after A. S. Pushkin hosts lessons of courage for school students in Mozyr on the thematic exhibition “Our Memory and Pain”, dedicated to Internationalist Soldiers Remembrance Day, using archival documents from the collection of personal papers: memories of soldiers-internationalists who served in Afghanistan in 1981-1987. The purpose of the exhibition: to broaden students’ knowledge about the war in Afghanistan, the Afghan heroes of Mozyr region, to form an idea of duty, honor, responsibility, morality, a sense of respect for the participants of military events and to expand their knowledge about the war in Afghanistan and Afghan heroes. The exhibition runs until February 20, 2022.

- Students of 11 “B” class of secondary school No. 5 in Mozyr (class teacher – Tatyana Tolmacheva) visited the exhibition and got acquainted with the memoirs of reserve sergeant Alexander Odintsov and guard junior lieutenant Sergey Bober about their service in the limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan
