The Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings (BGAKFFD) offers an online exhibition of records dedicated To the 130th Anniversary of the Birthday of Yanka Maur, a famous Belarusian writer, who worked in the genres of satire, history, literature for kids, and is credited with starting the science fiction tradition in the modern Belarusian literature.

The text of the exposition is in the Belarusian language.

A new jubilee page Belarus in the War of 1812 is posted in the Subject Guides section of the website to mark the 200th anniversary of the historical event.

The page consists of three main sections:

• An overview of the events of 1812 in Belarusian territory

• An online exhibition of records relating to the war of 1812 held at the Belarusian archives

• A summary information on the published collection of documents relating to the war of 1812 in Belarusian territory selected from the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Minsk and the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno

The online exhibition features 440 records and materials (mainly the digital copies of textual documents) relating to the war of 1812. The records are organised by 23 topics illustrating different stages and aspects in the war of 1812, in particular the events on the eve of the war, the situation on Belarusian territory in the wartime and after the expulsion of Napoleon’s army, the war aftermath and commemoration in Belarus etc.

The source materials are selected from six Belarusian archives - the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Minsk, the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno, the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, and the Belarusian Research Centre of Electronic Records.

A special jubilee page The classic writer of Belarusian literature Maksim Bahdanovich. To the 120th anniversary of the birth has been added to the Famous People section in the Subject Guides to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the birth of this outstanding Belarusian poet, prose writer, literary critic, essayist and translator.

The page consists of five sections:

• A comprehensive overview of Maksim Bahdanovich’s life and work.

• A survey of Belarusian and foreign collections which contain records relating to Maksim Bahdanovich.

• A summary information on the first editions of Maksim Bahdanovich’s works (images of book cover, title page, preface, contents).

• A virtual exposition of nearly 400 records and materials relating to Maksim Bahdanovich (digital copies of textual records, photographs, sound recordings, drawings, images of museum objects). The online exhibits are organised by eight topics illustrating various aspects of Maksim Bahdanovich’s life and work. The source materials are selected from five Belarusian archives – the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Minsk, and the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno.

Vintsent Dunin-Martsinkevich page is added to the Famous People section in the Subject Catalogue to provide information on this prominent Belarusian writer of the nineteenth century, one of the founders of modern Belarusian literature and national dramatic art.

The page provides background information on Dunin-Martsinkevich, a survey of Belarusian and foreign collections relating to his life and work, a summary of his first editions, including a picture of the book's cover and annotation, and an online exhibition of 140 documents.

The online exhibits include the writer's autographs, textual records, photographs and sound recordings and are organised by eight topics illustrating various aspects of Dunin-Martsinkevich's life and creative work. These were selected from four Belarusian archives -- the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Minsk, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, and the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno.

The website page on The Great Patriotic War (World War Two in the Soviet Union 1941-1945) posts information on a new archive edition, Tragedy of Belarussian Villages. 1941-1944.

Uladzimir Karatkevich page has been added to the Famous People section to mark the 80th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Belarusian writer, poet, playwright, translator, a founder of Belarusian historical novel.

The page offers Karatkevich’s biography and online exhibition of 240 documents from six Belarusian archives, including the writer’s autographs, textual records, excerpts of his works, photographs, sound recordings, and film fragments. The documents are organised by seven topics illustrating various aspects of Karatkevich’s life and creative work.

A special jubilee section: 65 Years of Victory. The Great Patriotic War. Belarus is posted in the Subject Catalogue of the website.

The rubric consists of the three main sections:
  • A survey of events of the Great Patriotic War in the Belarusian SSR and the Soviet Union and the chronology of key events of the Second World War.
  • Summary information on 25 archival publications relating to the Great Patriotic War in Belarus (directories, documentary editions, research papers), with links to their contents and prefaces in the Russian version of the website.
  • A virtual exhibition of documents (textual records, photographs, film and sound recordings).

    On display in the online exhibition are 405 wartime records available from 12 state archives in the Republic of Belarus illustrating the tragic and heroic pages from the history of World War Two in Belarus.

    The Administrative Division of Belarus page in the Genealogy section has been comprehensively revised and expanded with new details on the topic. In addition to the main article, the page contains a list of main administrative units that existed in the area of present-day Belarus in different historical periods and includes many links to maps.

    A special Jubilee Rubric, "The Prominent Figure in Belarusian Culture Bronislav Epimakh Shipillo" has been posted in the Russian version of the site to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of the noted Belarusian enlightener, publisher, literary scholar, linguist, a collector of Belarusian rarities, who contributed to the investigation of Belarusian life and the national rebirth of Belarus. The page offers his comprehensive biography, a survey of archival collections and many online photographs and documents concerning his life and work.
